History of women's football in the Czech lands

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of women's football in the Czech lands. The thesis is divided chronologically from the very beginnings of football as a collective sport and traces the involvement of women in the game. It defines the first sporting activities of women in society and their official educational physical education process in Europe. Provides the earliest references to women's football in Great Britain and Bohemia. Describes the most important things that have happened in women's football in the Czech territory, in a chronological sequence from the founding of the first women's team, the structure of the first regular competitions to the current structure of women's football in the Czech Republic. The most famous teams are mapped and the most important personalities of women's football in the Czech Republic and the world are described. It describes the development of the Czechoslovak women's national football team from its first official match to its isolation under the Czech flag. The chapters are enriched with contemporary interviews and public reactions from available theses, periodicals, books and websites. The budget of the Czech Softball Association focusing both on individual budgets and their fulfilling of each representation unit

Title: The budget of the Czech Softball Association focusing both on individual budgets and their fulfilling of each representation unit Objectives: The key objective of this bachelor thesis is to determine the revenues and expenditures of the Czech Softball Association's (further off as ČSA) budget in time, respectively from year 2010 till 2017, and identifying trends in dividing the budget into individual national teams. The priority is to answer the questions asked by the CEO of the ČSA, Gabriel Waage. Methods: Methods of comparison were used in this thesis while comparing secondary data from separate annual budgets. After acquiring and analysing the resulting values, a structured interview with the CEO of the ČSA was done. Obtained information was thoroughly described in following discussion. Results: According to the results of the analysis and information gained from the interview with the CEO of Czech Softball Association, I've come up with some recommendations that could be reconsidered before creating new budgets for following periods. I've mainly focused on the concept of justice in the financial distribution into individual national teams and also on the adequacy of goals which are expected from them. Title: Description of selection fitness criteria for selected national teams and dependence of such criteria on performance in a single scull Aim: The main focus of this work is to describe current fitness selection criteria to national teams and ascertain the connection between these criteria and performance in a single scull. Methods: The structure of this thesis is descriptive. The practical part presents the relationship between selected fitness criteria obtained from 11 participants. The relationship is expressed as a correlation coefficient. Twelve values were acquired from each participant, sorted into 3 separate categories.  Tests of maximum power (1RM)  Endurance tests  Rowing ergometr tests Results: It was found that rowing federations select competitors primarily through ergometer testing, namely the tests for 2 km and 5 km or 6 km. Sculling performance is mainly dependent on individual's endurance capabilities with a correlation coefficient of r = 0, 62 and on dead lift with correlation coefficient of r = 0, 64. Power output per unit weight during endurance tests turned out to be irrelevant. So did squatting with added weight (r = 0, 00) and 1500m running (r = 0, 03). Title: Characteristics of the senior men's volleyball in the past and its relationship to the current mode of the game. Objectives: The thesis aims to acquire, process and evaluate the views of large quantities mainly former players, coaches volleyball and CVS officials who actively participated in the development of volleyball in that period. The operational objective is to elaborate the history of men's national team of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic in volleyball and an outline of the history of volleyball. Methods: To meet the research goals, I used method of questioning using non-standardized questionnaire with closed questions. In the second part of the research I used a research method interview. I Interview I chose because I wanted to check whether I am in the questionnaire did not forget any important fact related to your topic. Data collected from questionnaires were analyzed sum of probands and their answers. The results were processed by conventional statistical methods, expressed verbally, in tables and graphs. This thesis entitled "The Media Image of the Czech Hockey Team in the years 2010 - 2015" deals with the presentation of the Czech national ice hockey team at the World Championships in 2010, 2013 and 2015, in the Mlada fronta Dnes and the Sport daily newspapers. It focuses on the media image created during the championships with different process, results and circumstances. The theoretical part presents the concepts, methods and procedures. It focuses on the introduction of semiotics, its principles and explains the basic concepts of the semiotics and semiotic analysis work. Another area is the media construction of reality, which is important for analyzing media image. The media coverage of the sports events, myths associated with it, creating a statute of athletes' celebrities or presentation of national pride and identity in the background of sports events are the important topics of the presented theoretical starting points. In the methodological part there is presented the research project explaining the topic, objective and a sample of the research, the tasks of the research and also questions addressed in subsequent practical part. Specific Attributes of the Czech National Football A-Team

The aim of this thesis is to analyze specific attributes and contemporary practice in managing of the Czech National Football A-Team and define a scope for its improvement by using general principles of management. It describes basic general terms of management and in details elaborates on the management of the Czech Football A-Team. It is also focused on main management functions and their practical use with the National A-Team. A significant part of the text describes and analyzes the general management principles such as decision-making, planning, organizing and supervision and their application in the control activities of the Czech National Team. At the end of this thesis the specific attributes of the management of the National Football A-Team of the Czech Republic are listed and measures and suggestions how to improve the management process are proposed.
Analysis of attendance on home games of Slovakian national football team

This paper deals with factors affecting home games of Slovakian national football team from 1994 to 2015. The dataset is containing 100 observations,which are examined through the econometric analysis. Ticket prices before 2002 was unable to discover, although the rest had demonstrated that the impact of the price of tickets for the match attendance is irrelevant. An important factor has proven fact ,that a qualifying games were more attended , than friendly games (22 % less). The assumption that if the opponents of the Slovak representation is rival from the Czech Republic are confirmed . These games attends an average of 24 % more than others. Another important variable was when the match was played in Bratislava, it was on 13 % less attended than the games played in other Slovak cities.
